Lindsay Dellinger
Lindsay Taylor Dellinger is a fashion designer, singer, and writer with a degree in fashion design from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California. Trekking her way to Los Angeles from Kansas City at the tender age of eighteen, she lent her expertise to an independently owned fashion/entertainment magazine titled Atomica. It was here she contributed her story on Andre Hyland, a graffiti writer and the director of independent film Nobodys. The interview sought to substantiate graffiti as an art form rather than mere vandalism.
After five years working in the fashion industry, Dellinger endeavored into the freelance writing world where she is part of the few, bold females to provide her personal account on the memorable day she lost her virginity at www.defloweredmemoirs.com. In addition to journalism and nonfiction, Lindsay writes poetry, songs, short-story fiction and occasionally blogs.
As a music connoisseur, Lindsay enjoys a wide variety of genres with an aptness for Soul/R&B. Growing up listening to motown and her parents' classic rock infused this interest. She began singing and performing at the age of four, participated in choirs and played the flute. Today, she writes, records, and produces with the occasional live performance. She recently released her debut EP, limited. In addition to the creative side of music, she is in the process of beginning her music publishing company titled Ogad Music, as well as continuing to do freelance graphic design work for various clothing companies and a music booking agency.
Finally, Lindsay is a firm believer in alternative medicine and feng shui. She decorates and arranges her home according to the ba gua. She has done extensive research on homeopathy, for both her and her two cats, and prefers this as a primary option before consulting practitioners of western medicine.
